Roll-A-Drum Filter

Ink & Oil Mist Filtration

The Luwa Roll-a-Drum filter unit is used as a part of air engineering plants to provide filtration of air steams heavily charged with Ink & Oil Mist.

Mist and fumes in air stream, forced by a high efficiency fan, enter into the filter enclosure. The mist & dust particles passing through the media separate by means of a coalescing effect of media fibres with aerosols.

As the media becomes dirty and saturated with mist, the pressure diference between the dirty and clean side rises. This activates a differential pressure sensor and new media automatically advances into the filtration chamber. Automatic media advancement can also be achieved by means of a cycle timer.

A media run-out switch is provided to warn operators prior to the media running out. The switch can be connected to various alarm signals or integrated into existing control systems.
